After being in a stump for the past week, I finally was able to ventured into some dungeons tonight. Sadly, none of the runs were Heroics, so I got pretty much nothing out of the runs, save for a few boes.
The first stop was the Culling of Stratholme. This was a very mixed up run. Afraid I don't remember all the classes that were there on this run. Upon falling victim to Meathook coming up from behind me and taking myself and then the group out, one of the group members decided to kick the poor level 75 Priest that was with us due to his lack of DPS. Now, albeit his dps was horrible at a mere 280, you've got to understand, the boss was completely red for him still. Alas, he was booted and a hunter took his place. Round 2 with Meathook (and was all 5 people up) he went downed pretty fast. One person just had to proclaim how easy it was without the previous priest. *sigh* Some people just don't pay attention.
The rest of the run stayed uneventful til the end with the one person, I won't name names, that had greeded everything that was not useful for anyone. When asked to DE them, he simply replied, "I herb inscripe". This, of course, brought on a small heated arguement between this individual myself and the immediate bla
ck listing of him.On to dungeon number two: Hall of Stone. Now this was a very fun run, although very very easy to do. It consisted of a 79 Prot Warrior, a Frost/Unholy Death Knight, Mage, and Priest. Nothing special on this run, however DPS on this one was much more noticable here. The DK of course having the highest DPS, where as I myself was 3rd. I did however maintain 1600 dps up until the 2nd to last boss. The pushback from him just totalled messed me up on my spell rotation. However, all was good, no wipes, no newbie mistakes.
Then the last and final dungeon of the night: Utgard Pinnacle. This run was pretty
much the same as the last. It was the exact same group except for the mage. Instead we recruited a Warlock for the new DPS slot. I was really annoyed by my DPS here. However I started to get my usual "wireless card lag" during one of the boss fights. This ultimately ruined my DPS as my casting was off a good 3 seconds due to the lag issues I was having. All in all, it was another good and easy run. No new gear, just some more enchanting mats. Now, if anyone is wondering what my spell rotation is, its quite simple. My usual rotation is Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Chain lightning, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock, LavaBurst, Chain lightning, and then rinse and repeat. Occasinally casting Thunderstorm to do any quick aoe damage as well as regain 8% of my mana, however I must be careful and use caution so that I do not push mobs into another group. Normally, this rotation lasts only through the first full casting on normal mobs before they are downed. The Flame shock on the target allows my Lava Burst to automatically crtically hit the target normally for 5500 to 6500 damage, depending on current buffs and cooldown uses.
This is all for my adventures in for the evening. I hope to be able to post something much more interesting the next time I am able. Until then.....
Lok'tar ogar!!
